		<description>Absolutely.  I encourage admins to read industry journals and web pages (get your boss to recommend some).  I had one boss where it was my job to keep abreast of employment related legislation going through the appeals courts.  It&#039;s also why you should always be on good terms with everyone in the office, so you hear the gossip you need to hear (and more importantly, that your boss needs to hear).</description>
