What better way to spend a nice summer weekend than reading a book. This particular book is one of my all time favorites. I’ve probably read it 10 times over the years.
If you like a character driven book, with good strong characters, this is one you’ll love. If you love strong female characters, you’ll love it even more.
More than anything though, this is a book about surviving in a foreign culture. It’s about adapting while still remaining true to who you are. That’s what I love more than anything about this book. If yo haven’t read it, give it a read. If you have, then maybe it’s time to read it again?
Clan of the Cave Bear gets a full 5 stars from me.
