Your fax is down, and you really need to send that fax. Or you need to send a fax from home. What do you do? Why, you send the fax through the internet, of course!
faxZERO allows you to send a fax up to three pages long from your computer for free. Either link to a document (PDF, MS Word or MS Excel files only), or copy and paste the text of the document into the text box on their site (one or the other, you can’t do both).
Of course, there is a catch. The cover page (which doesn’t count toward your 3 pages), has faxZero’s logo and an ad on it, and you can only send up to 2 free faxes per day.
If you want, though, you can pay just $1.99 per fax. In that case, you can send up to 15 pages, there is no limit per day of paid faxes, and you don’t have the logo and ad on the cover page.
For small or home businesses that don’t fax much, or for the occasional personal fax, this can be more cost effective than buying your own fax machine.
